Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed Martial Arts

Mixed martial arts is the premier form of combat sports. Combining striking and grappling, it’s an amalgamation of all disciplines and a true test of one’s proficiency in combat sports. The popularity of mixed martial arts exploded in the early 90’s with the start of the UFC. Since then, MMA has become a full blown phenomenon and business. With hundreds of promotions worldwide, MMA really has become the premier martial art.

While it has been around since Ancient Greek times, MMA’s popularity regained a public perception in recent years and has birthed megastars like Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and Conor McGregor. With it’s growing popularity, the sport has been picked up by ESPN and is getting more of a mainstream push each day.
